Frequently asked questions

1) What is MapEverywhere™?

MapEverywhere™ is a toolbox. A toolbox equipped with our MapOS™ Operating System and associated modules. The true genius in creating any tool lies in its ability to be used over and over again.  It stands to reason that creating a tool with a multitude of uses is far better than creating a tool for each specific use. This is what MapOS™ was designed to do. It is a tool that can be used for many different purposes in many different settings.

By utilizing our Patent Pending non-GPS Turn by Turn navigation technology both for indoor structures and outdoor areas, we can provide a stand alone application that was designed to interface easily with others.

2) Where does MapOS™ live?

MapOS™ can be subscribed to either as a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution that we host for you and deliver via the Cloud or an in-house hosted solution of your own. It's your choice.

3) Who should use MapEverywhere™?

As the rollout of MapEverywhere™ continues to gain momentum and our product offerings expand to include Schools and Universities,  Office Buildings and Complexes, Retail Stores, Hotels and Resorts, Museums, Sports Arenas and Stadiums, Trade Shows and Conventions, Hospitals and Theme and Amusement Parks the answer is almost everybody.

This is a multifaceted product.  MapEverywhere™ delivers cutting edge functionality and ease of navigation to your clients, customers and guests while at the same time allowing you and your staff to deliver world class levels of service, support and information. Your Facility and Site Management, IT Management and Staff, Marketing and PR Departments, Payroll, Maintenance and Security departments will all benefit from the functionality offered by MapEverywhere™.

4) Will the system really allow visitors, guests and customers to remember where they parked their cars?

In a word, yes and it's almost as easy. No matter what type of venue, if your guests drive to it they'll need to get back to their vehicle. MapOS™ allows them to record in their own words and using reference points that mean something to them exactly where they parked their car and replay them whenever they need.

5) Does MapEverywhere™ really offer options for navigating without the need for taking the stairs?

Yes it does!  MapEverywhere™ will offer you the choice of an elevator only route so you can avoid stairs, escalators and the like.  This is especially helpful for families with young children, baby strollers and carriages as well as for seniors and the physically challenged.

6) What is the "Take Me There" button all about?

"Take Me There" is the function that provides a turn-by-turn guidance system that was created to allow your guests and visitors to see where they want to go and how to get there fast.  Just search for any point on the map, choose one and tap "Take Me There"; follow the prompts and they'll be directed to their destination.

7) Do you need to be on-line to use the "Take me There" functionality?

NO, you do not need to be online in any way to use the navigation function.  As GPS systems can fail indoors, MapEverywhere™ uses our patent pending technology to guide you to your destination.

8) What is scope mode?

Scope mode is the feature that allows your guests and visitors to easily view all "points" on each interactive map.  They simply TAP on any blue circle under the name of a "point" to drop a pin at that location.  They can then be taken to that location, via turn-by-turn navigation, without the need for GPS, Wi-Fi or even an Internet signal.

9) Does MapEverywhere™ work for those who are visually impaired?

Yes, voice over navigation compatibility has been incorporated into our software
